Streetlights out on Sloane - UPDATED

UPDATE, Monday, Jan. 22 - Electricians were finally able to find and fix the problem with the streetlights on Sloane. Extensive electrical repairs were made and the lights have been returned to service.
____________

UPDATE, Monday, Jan. 15 - Electricians were onsite today and fixed two of the four streetlights. Work will continue to restore the remaining fixtures.
____________

UPDATE, Sunday, Jan. 14 - On Saturday, Jan. 13, a repair person came to investigate the streetlight outage. It was determined that there is a short somewhere in the wiring and an electrician need to trace all of the streetlight wiring in order to locate and repair the damaged portion. Again, updates on the status of the repair will be posted as they are available. In the meantime, since we do not know how long it will take to locate and repair the damaged wiring, neighbors on Sloane can help each other out by leaving their porch lights on at night.
___________

UPDATE, Saturday, Jan. 13 - Although the lights were repaired and working Thursday night, they were out again early this morning. Property management was notified and has been trying to get a repair person out today. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that the repair will be accomplished this weekend. Updates on the status of the repair will be posted as they are available.  In the meantime, neighbors on Sloane can help each other out by leaving their porch lights on at night.
____________

UPDATE, Thursday, Jan. 11 - We are pleased to report that property management was able to get someone out to fix the streetlights today.
____________

Thursday, Jan. 11 - Streetlights on Sloane are not working, perhaps as a result of the extreme deep freeze and thaw we've experienced over the past week. Property management was notified this morning and is working to get the repair work done.

Unfortunately all of the trades are extremely busy this week repairing frozen and burst pipes, and heating systems. The streetlight repair will be completed as soon as possible though, and we appreciate your patience. In the meantime, neighbors on Sloane can help each other out by leaving their porch lights on at night.

Updates on the status of the repair will be posted as they become available.

Snow removal

Snow removal for SMA's roadways was scheduled prior to the start of today's storm. Naturally, snow removal efforts do not begin until after the storm has passed. Since today's storm lasted well into the afternoon, snow removal from our roads will begin tomorrow morning (Friday, Jan. 5).

Please make sure that your trash cans and any bagged yard waste or bulk trash are cleared from the curbs so that snow removal will not be impeded.

Winter Storm: Jan. 4 board meeting canceled; snow removal

The SMA board meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 4 has been canceled due to the approaching winter storm. A new date for the meeting will be set. Check back for that information.

Please note that the Advanced Association Management Group office anticipates being closed on Thursday, Jan. 4 due to the winter storm.

Arrangements have been made to have snow to be cleared from SMA roads after the storm has passed. If you have a trash can or bulk trash at the curb, please remove it before the snowfall so that it will not impede snow removal. Thank you.
