News for March 2017

Time to spruce up the neighborhood!

Stratford Manor is kicking off a "Most  Beautiful Yard" contest! Each quarter the Board will choose a winner and award a $25 gift card to Anderson’s Garden Center.  In addition, the lucky winner can have a sign displayed in their beautiful yard letting everyone know they are "best in show!" The contest starts in April, so lets get planting!

Year-Round Landscaping will be spraying the crab grass, trimming the crepe myrtles, and mulching the common areas in March.

The Post Office has been out to inspect our mailboxes. They will be removing rust, repairing, and painting the mailboxes.

Architectural Compliance Committee will be doing their annual inspection during the last week of March. Now is the time to spruce up your home to ensure that you are in compliance with the rules and regulations of Stratford Manor. Click over to the Architectural Compliance page for a handy checklist that will help you make sure you're ready.

Reminders!

Please do not put bulk trash on the street until the day of pickup. If you need items removed before the next pickup date, consider donating your useable items to ReStore (Habitat for Humanity). They offer free pickup and are always in need of appliances, furniture, cabinets, tools, building materials, housewares, flooring, lighting and more. Call ReStore at 757-941-4079, option 1, to schedule a free pickup.

Pets must not be allowed to run loose on the property and should be leashed. Please do not allow your pet to walk, urinate or defecate on the private property of other residents. Owners should immediately clean up after pets defecating in the common areas. Please do not allow pets to urinate on plants and shrubs in common areas. If you allow your pet to potty in your back yard, please be a kind neighbor and clean up after your pet so that neighbors can enjoy their outdoor areas without foul odors.

Trash pickup up is on Tuesdays. Please do not put your trash cans out before 6 p.m. on Monday evening and, after pickup on Tuesday, make sure they are removed from the street no later than 6 p.m. on Wednesday. This is a city ordinance and a Stratford Manor rule.
